This summer Snap Up Tickets sponsored Ottawa’s 2012 HOPE Volleyball Summer Fest. HOPE is the world’s largest beach volleyball tournament organized by volunteers. It is a not-for-profit event that raises funds for community-based charities such as The Canadian Diabetes Association and The Children’s Wish Foundation, amongst many others.

Each year, more than 25,000 players and spectators flock to Mooney’s Bay Beach in Ottawa for the greatest summer party in the region. These participants have helped HOPE donate over $3.5 million in support of more than 110 local charities.

Snap Up Tickets sponsored the event by providing free online registration. Over the years registration was done on paper and was hand delivered when completed. It was very time consuming as the team organizer had to get signatures from all their team members and write down all required information. What better way to improve this then using an online registration system! Snap Up Tickets developed an easy to use registration system allowing all participants to sign up their teams. No more paper forms that get lost or accidentally destroyed.

This year over 10,000 registrants were processed with Snap Up Tickets. Donation pages were also created allowing participants to collect donations for HOPE charities through online links to social networks. We were truly honored to be able to provide this service for such a great cause.
